NGO Responsible Citizens systematically works to ensure that children in the communities of Eastern Ukraine have a safe environment and favorable conditions.

Together with the National Social Service of Ukraine and UNICEF Ukraine, and with the support of the Government of Sweden, NGO Responsible Citizens joined a vital initiative aimed at reinforcing Ukraine’s social service sector during crisis.

The NGO “Responsible Citizens,” in collaboration with the Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy, conducted a training session titled “Skills for Success in Life and Career” for educators from Kharkiv’s educational institutions.

The year 2022 became a year of trials for a family from Sloviansk. The decision to move to the Odesa region to protect their children from danger was not an easy one, but it was necessary. Later, when it became relatively safe in their hometown, the family returned home, despite all the challenges of living in a frontline region.

On May 23, the Responsible Citizens team took part in the 3rd Annual International Conference “Ukrainian Leadership in Aid,” organized by the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations and international partners.

The NGO Responsible Citizens, in partnership with the Zaporizhzhia Regional Center for Social Services, within the UNICEF Ukraine project, conducted training for representatives of social services from communities in the Zaporizhzhia region on the topic of creating and developing family-based care.
