After months of stress and distance learning, Nazar* became withdrawn — and his mother didn't know how to help him. The answer was found in Kharkiv Oblast, where NGO Responsible Citizens together with Save the Children created a space where children learn to be children again.
The project is implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with the international humanitarian organisation Save the Children in Ukraine, with the generous support of the American people through the Government of the United States.
In a Child-Friendly Space in Kharkiv region, sessions under the “TEAM UP” programme are launching. TEAM UP is a body-oriented group psychosocial support programme for children aged 6 to 18. The programme was designed for implementation in wartime and post-conflict settings. It is grounded in practical experience and delivered through movement, play, and interaction.
In partnership with Save the Children in Ukraine, and with the generous support of the American people provided through the Government of the United States of America, activities are being implemented to strengthen child protection, support children’s well-being, and improve families’ access to psychosocial services.
