Sent over 320 kg of Humanitarian Aid to the Kharkiv Region

The project is implemented by Responsible Citizens NGO within the framework of a new partnership with JERU — Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine, a joint initiative of the international organizations Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide, with financial support from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

On 24 June, a panel discussion entitled “From Aid Recipients to Change-Makers: Youth at the Centre of Ukraine’s Recovery” will take place in Gdańsk as part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026. We invite representatives of government authorities, civil society, international organisations, and donor organisations to join the discussion on the role of youth in the recovery of communities and the country.

In partnership with Save the Children in Ukraine, and with the generous support of the American people provided through the Government of the United States of America, activities are being implemented to strengthen child protection, support children’s well-being, and improve families’ access to psychosocial services.

Since the beginning of autumn, our mobile teams of psychologists and facilitators have been visiting communities where people live under constant stress caused by the war and often have no access to professional support. This became possible thanks to the project implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with JERU – Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine, a joint initiative of Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide — with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office.

Key responsibilities include supporting compensatory learning programmes, analysing educational outcomes, coordinating with stakeholders, participating in relevant working groups, and preparing analytical materials.

The first stage of application submission is complete, and we sincerely thank everyone who showed interest in our initiative. The number and quality of applications have truly impressed us — so many scholars, teachers, and professionals in the field are ready to join efforts to improve Ukraine’s education system.
