Classes under the TEAM UP Programme Launch in a Child-Friendly Space in Kharkiv Region
In a Child-Friendly Space in Kharkiv region, sessions under the “TEAM UP” programme are launching. TEAM UP is a body-oriented group psychosocial support programme for children aged 6 to 18. The programme was designed for implementation in wartime and post-conflict settings. It is grounded in practical experience and delivered through movement, play, and interaction.
The sessions follow a structured methodology and combine logorhythmic dance activities, team sports games, body awareness exercises, and creative activities. This approach helps children better understand their emotional state, reduce stress levels, and experience peer support within a safe group environment.
“The Space creates conditions where children can communicate and learn cooperation. Through movement and play-based activities, they develop social skills, gradually open up, explore their behaviour, and build greater confidence in challenging life situations,” says Alina Chaichenko, Child Protection Officer at ГО “Відповідальні громадяни”.
The project is implemented by ГО “Відповідальні громадяни” in partnership with Save the Children, with the generous support of the American people provided by the Government of the United States of America.
