Application Phase for the Mini-Grants Program in Kharkiv Region Has Ended
We have completed the application phase for the mini-grants program for local initiatives in Kharkiv Region, implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with JERU and with financial support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.
We would like to thank the initiative groups from the Zolochiv, Shevchenkiv, Vilkhuvatka and Velykyi Burluk communities for their engagement and trust.
We received dozens of applications, which once again demonstrates that communities clearly understand their needs and are ready to take action.
Submitted initiatives include:
- energy-efficiency and housing insulation projects (windows, doors, generators);
- improvement of public spaces (pavement, paving tiles, landscaping, playgrounds);
- ensuring safe and stable access to drinking water (drilling wells, cleaning existing wells, filtration systems);
- equipping centers and spaces for children, youth, and other community members;
- installation of solar panels as an alternative energy source.
Each application offers a concrete solution to address basic community needs and represents an investment in long-term resilience.
All submitted initiatives have now been transferred for review to an expert commission with participation of the program partners. Decisions will be made through a voting process, and in January 2026 the selected communities will begin implementing their projects.
