Announcing the Start of the Mini-Grants Program for the Communities of Kharkiv Region
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” is launching the call for applications to participate in the local initiatives support program. We are looking for active people who want to make their communities safer, more comfortable, and more cohesive.

- An appointed coordinator / group leader responsible for communication and project implementation.
- Experience in implementing projects or volunteer activities (of the group or individual participants) will be taken into account during the application evaluation.
The initiative group may include:
- Natural persons, residents of the community, who have reached the age of 18.
- Local activists and volunteers.
- Educators, librarians.
- Internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other community representatives.
Grant amount: up to 160,000 UAH per one initiative.
Project requirements:

- must have a clear implementation plan within 2.5 months;
- must not have a military or political focus.
Each project must have a detailed description of the positive impact on at least 25 community residents.
The planned project implementation period is two months, but it is expected that its effect will have a long-term character.
How to submit an application:
Fill out the participation form and send it to our team. Before filling out, be sure to familiarize yourself in detail with the conditions.
The application acceptance will last until December 15, 2025.
After the end of the application acceptance, the expert commission — with the participation of all partners — will review the initiatives. The decision will be made by voting, and already in January 2026, the winning communities will begin implementing their ideas.
Together we strengthen communities, support initiatives, and create opportunities for development where it is needed most.
The program is implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” within the framework of partnership with JERU – Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine — a joint initiative of international organizations Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide with financial support from the UHF for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs / OCHA Ukraine.
