‘Responsible Citizens’ Board Head joins mental health events led by Olena Zelenska
The Head of the Board of the NGO “Responsible Citizens,” Olga Kosse, participated in events dedicated to World Mental Health Day in Kyiv, held under the patronage of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.
The discussion on the formula for the resilience of Ukrainians brought together a wide range of specialists and public figures who directly work on supporting the mental health of people affected by the war. Participants emphasized the importance of raising public awareness and the need for systematic support for mental stability.
“Responsible Citizens” is actively involved in psychological support projects in eastern Ukraine. This is primarily because mental health is a key aspect affecting people’s quality of life, their ability to work, and cope with ongoing challenges.
“Today, we cannot afford to ignore mental health issues. Every project and initiative of the organization must be based on a deep understanding of psychological aspects so that communities can overcome the challenges they face. Thanks to modern research, we better understand the processes occurring in public sentiments, allowing us to make support for people more effective and targeted,” noted Olga Kosse, Head of the Board of “Responsible Citizens.”
