Responsible Citizens NGO has become a member of the Humanitarian NGOs Platform in Ukraine
This is an important step toward strengthening coordination within the humanitarian community and expanding partnerships that help respond more effectively to the needs of people affected by the conflict.
The NGO Platform brings together Ukrainian and international organizations working in the humanitarian sector. It is an independent coordination space established in 2023 with the support of leading international humanitarian institutions. Its goal is to ensure coherent action, strengthen advocacy, support high-quality planning, and represent the interests of NGOs at all levels of decision-making.
For us, joining the Platform is an opportunity to contribute to shaping the country’s humanitarian agenda and to work alongside more than 100 organizations on shared solutions. Regular meetings, working groups, and dialogue with donors, the government, and the UN enable NGOs to promote approaches that advance localization and equitable partnerships.
Responsible Citizens NGO has been operating since 2014 and is now implementing programs in five regions — Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy. Our experience in humanitarian response, broad partnerships, and deep engagement with community needs allow us to contribute to the Platform’s strategic processes and share practices that have proven effective in frontline areas.
We value the trust of our community and remain committed to ensuring that assistance is timely, targeted, and as effective as possible for the people who need it.
