Dmytro Belyaev
Each of us understands the concept of time differently. And at some point, each of us faces a choice about how to spend it, what to make the purpose of our life, and what our true goals are. You can only make this choice once you have a clear understanding of your own life priorities.
Sometimes it takes years to make that choice. Other times, a single moment is enough to honestly answer direct questions – what is your truth?
My personal moment to answer this question came in 2019. That’s when I became part of the "Responsible Citizens" team. I explored various roles – working as a registrar and distributor of humanitarian aid. These were large-scale and impactful projects, in partnership with Mercy Corps, World Vision, and UNICEF in Ukraine.
By profession, I’m an engineer, overseeing the construction of gas supply systems. However, I believe I need to be where I can be most helpful to people right now. That’s why I’m currently coordinating a mobile team in the de-occupied areas of Donetsk region, particularly in Sviatohirsk and Lyman.
For me, responsibility is more than just a duty – it’s a way of life and my personal state of being.
