Olena Romanyshyna

I've been managing budgets, finances, and expenses my entire career. I have worked as an accountant, chief accountant, and later as an auditor's assistant in Ukrainian companies. I earned the IPFM diploma in "Internal Audit" and completed a specialized course in "Financial Management for Non-Profit Organizations."

For a long time, I have believed that equality and fairness are the most important values. Since 2014, this belief has become even more personal to me as someone born in Donbas. Accepting the new reality of my homeland was a complex and painful process. That’s why being able to contribute to the well-being of people in Eastern Ukraine is deeply meaningful to me.

As part of the "Responsible Citizens" team, I’ve had the privilege to work on numerous projects, help shape strategies, and develop new directions for the organization. Looking back, it feels like we’ve been through one very long workday over these past years. But this experience has made us stronger and more prepared for the challenges ahead.
