Motivational Meetings for Participants of the “Your Superpower” Project
The NGO Responsible Citizens is a partner of the project “Rinat Akhmetov – For Children. Your Superpower.”
The “Your Superpower” project is a series of motivational meetings with well-known and successful individuals for children from orphanages. The goal of the project is to help children who are without parental care discover their talents, which will enable them to be successful and happy.
The project started in 2018 and has involved approximately 800 children from 9 orphanages in the Donetsk region.
The project includes the following activities:
- Motivational meetings with the Foundation’s ambassadors – stars from the “Ukraina” TV channel, as well as renowned writers and artists.
- Introducing children to their dream professions. Participants visit enterprises where they dream of working (for example, recording studios, fire stations, veterinary clinics, IT companies, etc.). Specialists conduct special workshops where children can gain practical insights into the profession.
- The “City of Professions” project. Participants are introduced to 5 different professions: barista, photographer, hairdresser, emergency medical technician, and video blogger. In addition to discussions about the professions, specialists conduct workshops where everyone can learn the basic skills required for each profession.
- Workshops on resume writing, self-presentation, etc.
Responsible Citizens act as the organizational partner for this project. Our responsibilities include logistical and technical support, involving specialists to conduct workshops for children (in the “City of Professions”), and selecting companies for excursions and workshops.
