For our organisation, such platforms are a continuation of our daily work in communities living in the context of war, displacement and protracted crises. It is there that the understanding of the key shift we are discussing at URC is formed: young people can no longer be seen only as recipients of support — they are already part of the solutions that shape community recovery.

The educational program that helped Yana was made possible by the NGO Responsible Citizens, which for over a year and a half has been implementing short but practical training courses across communities in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions — giving displaced people a fresh start and a new professional path.

In response to rapid shifts in the humanitarian landscape, growing community needs, and ongoing transformation in civil society, the team of Responsible Citizens NGO held a strategic planning session. The goal was to shape a relevant vision for the coming years and enhance the organization's ability to respond effectively in a highly turbulent environment.
