About evacuation from frontline territories: live stream

Since October 2025, Responsible Citizens NGO has been implementing the project “Integrated Multi-Sectoral Support for Vulnerable Families in the Kharkiv Region,” supported by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund. The initiative unites partner organisations to deliver coordinated assistance to families affected by the war.

Since the beginning of autumn, our mobile teams of psychologists and facilitators have been visiting communities where people live under constant stress caused by the war and often have no access to professional support. This became possible thanks to the project implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with JERU – Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine, a joint initiative of Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide — with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office.

For over six months, the team of "Responsible Citizens," in collaboration with international partners, has been implementing the LIVES 3.0 project. This initiative aims to support residents in eastern Ukraine affected by the war.

The event was held within the framework of the UNICEF project “Protection Services for the Most Vulnerable Children and Parents (or Their Caregivers) in Communities of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts”, implemented by Responsible Citizens NGO with the financial support of the United States Government and UNICEF.

A total of 319 families with children received comprehensive social case management support in seven communities in Kharkiv region. From October 2025 to July 2026, mobile teams of the NGO “Responsible Citizens” helped families overcome crisis situations and access the social, legal and psychological services they needed.

NGO Responsible Citizens systematically works to ensure that children in the communities of Eastern Ukraine have a safe environment and favorable conditions.

In the frontline Malynivka community, war impacts every aspect of life, but the strength of unity and support helps children and families overcome challenges. The Child-Friendly Space, created with UNICEF Ukraine’s support, becomes a hub of hope and development.

The NGO "Responsible Citizens" successfully conducted the first training of the year on the topic: "Meeting Individual Needs – From a Sense of Safety to Conflict Mitigation."
