Together for the Children: Unity, support, hope
Since last year, the NGO “Responsible Citizens” has been working alongside the NGO “Dobrodiya” to organize joint activities, ensuring that every child in Zaporizhzhia has a safe space for creativity, psychological support, and communication.
Mobile teams from “Responsible Citizens” regularly hold art-therapy sessions, which not only provide an opportunity for self-expression but also serve as an important tool for emotional recovery. During creative workshops like painting, candle making, diamond mosaics, or thread work, children learn to recognize and express their emotions, overcome anxiety, and find inner balance.
However, these activities are not just beneficial for the children. They also open up additional opportunities for communication with parents, who, after attending these meetings, turn to our specialists — lawyers, psychologists, social workers, and speech therapists — for consultations and support. This approach allows us to offer comprehensive assistance to families and create conditions for the harmonious development of children, even in the most challenging circumstances. Collaboration and mutual support are the keys to ensuring that no child is left to face their struggles alone. Together, we do everything we can to make sure every child’s world is filled with care, understanding, and hope.
