Support in the frontline zone: Psychologists and specialists help families persevere
In the frontline Malynivka community, war impacts every aspect of life, but the strength of unity and support helps children and families overcome challenges. The Child-Friendly Space, created with UNICEF Ukraine’s support, becomes a hub of hope and development.
The Malynivka community lives in a frontline zone, where war affects not only safety but also children’s speech, behavior, and emotions. Here, every family learns to face challenges by relying on mutual support. The community is more than a place—it’s a unity held together by mutual help and humanity.
The Child-Friendly Space, established by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with UNICEF Ukraine, has become a true haven for children. Here, they don’t just spend leisure time but embark on a journey of adaptation, overcoming fears, developing, and making new friends. Psychologists, speech therapists, and social workers work daily to strengthen the resilience of every family. Through their efforts, children regain trust in the world, and parents receive the support they need.
