Support is underway in communities of the Kharkiv Region to assist children and families affected by the war

In eastern Ukraine, especially in frontline areas of Donetsk region, shelling is intensifying and civilian infrastructure is being heavily damaged. Under these conditions, mobile teams from the NGO Responsible Citizens are working directly in affected communities, offering comprehensive support to those who need it most.

Pre-registration has begun for participation in the multi-purpose cash assistance program, implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with JERU (a joint initiative of international organizations Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide), funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (AA).

This decision is due to the unstable security and infrastructure situation in the communities of eastern Ukraine. Limited access to communication and the Internet, power outages, and difficult working conditions affect the ability of initiative groups to properly prepare and submit their project proposals.
