LIVES 3.0: Project Outcomes Supporting Communities Affected by Conflict
For over six months, the team of “Responsible Citizens,” in collaboration with international partners, has been implementing the LIVES 3.0 project. This initiative aims to support residents in eastern Ukraine affected by the war. Through coordinated efforts, significant results have been achieved in three key areas:
🔹 Cash Assistance
- 7,461 residents received multi-purpose cash assistance to meet basic needs such as food, medicine, housing costs, and more.
- 6,500 people received financial support for purchasing solid fuel to prepare for the winter.
- Continuous engagement with communities allowed us to identify priority needs and provide support where it was most needed.
🔹 Professional Development
Helping individuals regain their professional capabilities was a crucial component of the project:
- 203 participants acquired new skills and professions through vocational training courses, facilitating their adaptation to the modern job market.
- 300 unemployed individuals attended career orientation workshops, where they learned how to create resumes, showcase their skills, and perform well in interviews.
- Additionally, participants received legal and psychological consultations, offering vital support during challenging times.
🔹 Education
We also invested in the development of educators, who are shaping the future generation:
- 300 education professionals completed training in soft and business skills, enabling them to better prepare young people aged 14–24.
- These new skills and knowledge will serve as essential tools for equipping young people for successful careers and fulfilling lives.
The LIVES 3.0 project, implemented by “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with Mercy Corps and funded by the UK Government, demonstrated how effective collaboration can transform the lives of thousands.
