Responsible Citizens NGO Launches a New Project in Partnership with Medico International
Responsible Citizens NGO, with the support of the humanitarian and human rights organisation Medico International, is launching a new project aimed at supporting recently displaced and particularly vulnerable internally displaced persons in communities across Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The project is focused on people who have been displaced within the past six months and are currently going through the most sensitive stage of adapting to a new place of residence.
The initiative provides a comprehensive approach to supporting IDPs and includes mental health and psychosocial support services, individual protection case management, as well as targeted humanitarian assistance for the most vulnerable households.
Activities will be carried out through mobile specialist teams, individual support, and coordination with local service providers in order to identify needs in a timely manner and strengthen access to support at the community level.
A separate component of the project includes conducting needs assessments in Cherkasy and Kirovohrad oblasts, which will help build an analytical foundation for further planning and improving response programmes addressing the needs of internally displaced persons.
The implementation of the project will contribute to strengthening psychosocial resilience, reducing vulnerability, and supporting the integration of people who were forced to relocate into host communities.
