This assistance is part of the project “Local, Inclusive and Multi-Sectoral Emergency Assistance to Conflict-Affected Population in Ukraine” implemented by Responsible Citizens in partnership with Mercy Corps Ukraine and funded by the UK Government.

The teams of the NGO Responsible Citizens work in areas where the social burden increases every day. This is where Child-Friendly Spaces and mobile psychosocial support teams operate most actively. In the first half of 2025, nearly 10,000 children and their families received professional support.

In a Child-Friendly Space in Kharkiv region, sessions under the “TEAM UP” programme are launching. TEAM UP is a body-oriented group psychosocial support programme for children aged 6 to 18. The programme was designed for implementation in wartime and post-conflict settings. It is grounded in practical experience and delivered through movement, play, and interaction.

The NGO “Responsible Citizens,” in partnership with Mercy Corps Ukraine and with the financial support of the Government of the United Kingdom, continues its work in transit centers for internally displaced people.

In the spring of 2025, they became participants in the program "Local, Inclusive, and Comprehensive Emergency Assistance to the Population Affected by the War in Ukraine," implemented by the NGO "Responsible Citizens" in partnership with Mercy Corps and with financial support from the UK Government.

This is an important step toward strengthening coordination within the humanitarian community and expanding partnerships that help respond more effectively to the needs of people affected by the conflict.

Our educational initiatives became part of the discussion at the workshop "Education Without Borders: Shaping Quality Education for Refugees from Pre-Primary to Tertiary". The event brought together international experts, government representatives, and members of the civil sector to seek solutions in the field of education during crises.
