325 kg of Aid for IDP women in Zaporizhzhia

In the spring of 2025, they became participants in the program "Local, Inclusive, and Comprehensive Emergency Assistance to the Population Affected by the War in Ukraine," implemented by the NGO "Responsible Citizens" in partnership with Mercy Corps and with financial support from the UK Government.

In September, catch-up classes were launched in communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region to help students recover from learning losses.

Their experiences also highlight the importance of the support provided by the team at the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with UNICEF.

The winter cash assistance program is implemented by Responsible Citizens NGO in partnership with JERU (a joint initiative of the international organizations Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide) with funding from the German Federal Foreign Office (AA). 

In February 2026, Responsible Citizens NGO, in partnership with Acted and with the support of the US Government, launched a humanitarian cash assistance programme for families affected by the war in Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk regions.

Olga Kosse, Chair of the Board of the NGO “Responsible Citizens”, took part in a series of advocacy meetings in London together with partners and colleagues from Ukrainian organisations.

The space was created by the NGO Responsible Citizens in partnership with UNICEF Ukraine. It offers a safe environment for play, learning, emotional recovery, and communication. Children of all ages are welcome, and adults who have experienced loss, evacuation, or separation receive social and psychological assistance.
