Support Nearby in Sumy Region
The NGO Responsible Citizens continues its active work within the framework of the JERU (Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine) partnership — a joint initiative of the international organizations Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide, implemented with funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
In Sumy and across communities of the Sumy region, our mobile teams of psychologists and facilitators hold meetings for adults and children — reaching places where people live under the pressure of war and often have no access to professional assistance.
Currently, meetings are being held with people who especially need attention and support — particularly those who work under heavy workloads and dedicate themselves to helping others every day.
Together, we discuss the prevention of professional burnout, mutual support within teams, and ways to maintain inner balance.
Such meetings help people better understand their own needs, find resources for recovery, and create a space of trust where everyone can share experiences and feel supported.
We believe that caring for mental health is a necessity that helps communities remain strong, even in the most difficult times.
Stay tuned for our updates.
