Responsible Citizens develop Operational Plan for the 2025–2027 Strategy
NGO Responsible Citizens held a facilitated session to develop the operational plan for its new Strategy for 2025–2027.
The meeting brought together teams from Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions – areas where the organization implements its programs.
During the session, participants:
- analyzed the main challenges faced by communities in frontline and war-affected areas;
- assessed the results of previous work in child protection, multi-sectoral humanitarian aid, education support, and psychosocial assistance for families;
- defined key priorities for the coming years – strengthening systemic support for children and families, developing partnerships, building the capacity of local communities, and introducing innovative approaches in their work.
It is extremely important for us to hear the voices of our team members – those who work on the ground and implement projects at every stage. Their experience and vision help us shape a realistic and effective strategy.
The new Strategy for 2025–2027 will serve as a roadmap to help the organization not only respond to urgent needs but also build sustainable solutions for the future.
We sincerely thank all participants of the session for their teamwork, knowledge sharing, and dedication to the common goal – supporting people who need it the most.

How support helps Yulia and her children start a new lifeYulia and her four children were evacuated from the occupied city of Dniprorudne. The forced relocation changed everything— a new city, no job, and an uncertain future. "I mostly try to manage on my own," Yulia shares. She cannot leave her youngest child unattended, and kindergartens are not operating, making it impossible to return to work for now.
