Project: “Provision of group cash transfers, multi-purpose cash assistance and psychosocial support to conflict-affected and displaced populations in Kupiansk and Bohodukhiv rayons, Kharkiv Oblast”
Implementation period: September 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026
Project goal: To strengthen the resilience and well-being of populations in frontline communities of Kupiansk and Bohodukhiv rayons by providing multi-purpose cash assistance to cover basic needs and group cash transfers to address community priorities.
Key objectives of the project:
- Provide Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) to the most vulnerable people to cover their urgent needs.
- Support community initiatives through Group Cash Transfers (GCT) to address pressing local challenges.
Target groups:
- Vulnerable individuals in Zolochivska (Bohodukhiv rayon), Vilkhuvatska, Velykoburlutska and Shevchenkivska (Kupiansk rayon) hromadas who will receive MPCA.
- Civil society organizations and initiative groups that will receive GCTs to implement small-scale, locally prioritized projects.
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” implements this project within the framework of a partnership with JERU — a joint initiative of the international organizations Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide.
With financial support from the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund.
