Project Coordinator of “Responsible Citizens” NGO Receives Certificate from National Social Service and Becomes National Trainer in Social Work
Olena Bieloliptseva, Project Coordinator of “Responsible Citizens” NGO, received a certificate in competency development in the field of social work from the National Social Service (NSSU) and earned the status of a national trainer in social work.
The trainer preparation program was implemented by the NSSU in partnership with UNICEF and the League of Social Workers of Ukraine, with financial support from the Swedish government. The program was based on a course by the Columbia University School of Social Work, adapted for Ukraine.
Over 700 participants had the opportunity to learn about global standards and practical cases applied in various European countries. Part of the course included adapting this experience to Ukrainian realities.
Among the 38 trainers who successfully completed the program and conducted their own training sessions for social work professionals across Ukraine, the certificate was also awarded to Olena Bieloliptseva.
“The field of social work is highly sensitive to change, which requires continuous competency development. It is essential to consider the impact of digitalization, new technologies, and artificial intelligence on the transformation of social work, taking into account human rights. Equally important is the ability to integrate international experience into our practice to make social services in Ukraine more effective and modern,” — emphasized Olena Bieloliptseva.
Such programs create an environment for professional growth and strengthen the competencies of Ukrainian social work professionals.
“Responsible Citizens” NGO has been implementing social projects in the eastern regions of Ukraine for over 11 years, supporting communities and developing human potential.
