Let’s unite in the “16 Days Against Violence” campaign!
Every year, from November 25 to December 10, the world unites for the “16 Days Against Violence” campaign. This initiative holds special significance in Ukraine, as the war has become a catalyst for numerous conflicts within families, significantly increasing levels of stress, anxiety, and psychological pressure.
For the organization “Responsible Citizens,” combating and preventing violence is a vital part of our work. We actively strive to create a safe environment for children and their parents/guardians. Our mobile teams providing psychosocial support, as well as child-friendly spaces, regularly conduct consultations and training aimed at preventing violence and reducing aggression within families. At the same time, our specialists work on emotional trauma caused by the war, offering support to families to restore their inner balance and helping them find resources to overcome difficulties.
We place particular emphasis on strengthening family relationships: teaching healthy communication, finding common ground, and maintaining family unity during times of trial.
During the campaign, we offer free consultations and thematic events aimed at supporting families and children. You can learn more about our initiatives in the Child-Friendly Spaces groups or sign up for a consultation by contacting +380 66 56 700 16.
The mobile psychosocial support teams and Child-Friendly Spaces operate within the “Strengthening Community Capacity for Providing Basic Protection and Resilience Services in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia Regions” project, implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” with support from UNICEF and financial support from USAID.
