A Partnership That Ensures the Sustainability of Humanitarian Assistance

The Centre was established with financial support from the German Government through the KfW Development Bank and UNICEF Ukraine. Resilience Centres are an initiative of the Ministry of Social Policy within the national mental health programme “How are you?” initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska.

In January, new Child-Friendly Spaces began operating in Malynivska, Solonytsivska, Pivdenna, Zachepylivska, and Sakhnovshchynska communities. This marks an important milestone in the implementation of a joint project between the NGO "Responsible Citizens" and UNICEF Ukraine, funded by USAID - US Agency for International Development.

The event “Kharkiv Region: The Power of Law in the Fight for Freedom” was held with the support of the project “Human Rights for Ukraine, Phase II,” implemented by UNDP in Ukraine and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Olena Khvatynets, the regional coordinator of projects for the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in the Kharkiv region, participated in the forum.

The NGO "Responsible Citizens" successfully conducted the first training of the year on the topic: "Meeting Individual Needs – From a Sense of Safety to Conflict Mitigation."

The event was organized to mark the International Day of the Social Pedagogue, celebrated on October 2.

NGO Responsible Citizens, in partnership with UNICEF and with the support of the U.S. Government, is implementing the project “Strengthening Community Capacity to Provide Core Protection and Resilience Services in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia Regions”.
