Youth Day: Supporting and developing the young generation – a strategic priority for Responsible Citizens NGO
Even in the most challenging times, Responsible Citizens NGO continues to invest in the country’s future by creating opportunities for learning, professional growth, and self-realization for young people.
On Youth Day, we emphasize that in the midst of a full-scale war, it is crucial to remain focused on developing the next generation. Education, career growth, and access to quality knowledge must remain possible even under crisis conditions.
Supporting youth is one of the strategic priorities of Responsible Citizens NGO. In 2024 alone, our projects reached more than 20,000 young people. We provided career guidance, training in soft and business skills, assistance in choosing a first profession, and help with CV writing. Young people also had the opportunity to study English to increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
For graduating school students, we organized classes to help restore their school curriculum, enabling them to successfully pass final exams and enroll in further studies in their chosen fields.
We believe that by investing in youth development today, we are building strong communities for tomorrow. The effectiveness of this work was recognized at the regional level: the Communications Manager of Responsible Citizens NGO, Khrystyna Vasyliuk, was named a laureate of the “Youth of the Year – 2025” award by the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
This award is proof that even in wartime, perseverance, faith, and dedication can change the lives of young people for the better.
