Swedish Business and Ukrainian Civil Society Strengthen Dialogue on Support for Children
As part of a working visit to Stockholm organized at the initiative of Rädda Barnen, Olga Kosse, Head of the Board of Responsible Citizens NGO, held a personal meeting with Fredrik Strömholm — Partner at Impilo and founder of Altor Equity Partners. Fredrik Strömholm is one of the leading representatives of Sweden’s investment sector, with many years of experience in corporate finance and international investment.
The meeting took place with the support of Rädda Barnen as part of a series of strategic dialogues between civil society, international partners, and Swedish business representatives on long-term support for Ukraine.
The discussion focused on the challenges faced by Ukrainian families with children, including access to education, children’s emotional well-being, and preparation for winter. Particular attention was also given to which programmes are effectively working on the ground, which have lost relevance, and what is needed to build an effective system of psychological support for children.
“The willingness of international partners and representatives of responsible business to engage deeply with real needs is an essential foundation for a more meaningful international dialogue on long-term support for Ukraine,” said Olga Kosse.
Responsible Citizens NGO continues to systematically develop international partnerships that combine the field expertise of civil society, the potential of responsible business, and the resources of international donors to protect children’s rights in the regions of Ukraine most affected by the war.
