“Responsible Citizens” participates in Dnipro discussions on child protection and family support
The event organized by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration brought together leading humanitarian experts from the region and community representatives to address and expedite solutions to child protection issues.
“For our organization, collaboration between various regional actors is crucial. It not only unifies efforts to protect children’s rights but also enhances support for families by creating conducive conditions for their development and child-rearing,” said Alla Maslakhova, Regional Coordinator at the NGO “Responsible Citizens.”
The ongoing exchange of information, interaction, and support between the public sector and local authorities in Dnipro has proven effective in addressing and swiftly resolving issues faced by families with children. This is particularly relevant for internally displaced persons, whose numbers are increasing in Dnipro due to the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
Our organization continues to implement four key projects in the Dnipropetrovsk region, providing psychosocial, educational, and cross-sectoral humanitarian assistance. Over the past six months, we have supported more than 20,000 residents of the region and internally displaced persons through our Spaces, mobile teams, vocational training courses, and multi-purpose cash assistance.
“We will continue to enhance psychosocial support, especially for vulnerable populations, and expand our educational programs to help people adapt to new challenges,” concluded Alla Maslakhova.
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” is committed to further productive collaboration with all event participants to create better conditions for families and children in the region.
