“Responsible Citizens” NGO joined the Forum on supporting Family-Based Child Care in Kryvyi Rih
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” took part in the Forum on the Development of Family-Based Forms of Child Care, held in Kryvyi Rih at the initiative of regional and city authorities. The event became an important platform for discussing how every child can grow up in a caring family environment rather than under institutional care.
Our team consistently supports the development of family-based care, the empowerment of foster parents, guardians, and social professionals. We organize training, provide ongoing support, and offer psychological assistance to those who take responsibility for children deprived of parental care.
Together with our partners, we strengthen communities to make them safer and more supportive for children — especially those who have lost their homes or families due to the war.
“The Forum was another opportunity to share experiences, hear diverse perspectives, and find common ground between government, the public sector, and professionals. Our organization’s position remains unchanged — every child should grow up in a family. For over a year, we have been implementing comprehensive psychosocial support programs, particularly to assist families raising children deprived of parental care and to enhance the professionalism of child protection specialists. We firmly believe that only systemic efforts, local and national cooperation, and sustainable partnerships can create conditions in which the child truly remains at the center of attention,” commented Liubov Vasiuk, local coordinator of the “Responsible Citizens” NGO.
We continue working toward a future where every child has the right to care, love, and family.
