Promoting the resilience of communities affected by the war
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” continues to support the professional development and economic stabilization of communities affected by the war. Recently, we successfully conducted a series of career development trainings, attended by nearly 100 residents of Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk region. These training participants are individuals who lost their jobs due to the war and need support for integrating into the current job market.
The training program was aimed at comprehensive preparation for employment in the current economic situation. The sessions focused on developing individual career strategies, improving self-presentation skills, interview preparation, creating effective resumes and cover letters. Additionally, participants gained valuable insights into career prospects in various fields that are currently in high demand in the job market.
This initiative is implemented by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with Mercy Corps and with financial support from the UK Government. The support from international partners allows us to effectively respond to the needs of the population by providing access to quality educational opportunities and fostering the development of new professional pathways for those who have been forced to leave their previous jobs.
Through this program, we not only help individuals regain economic stability but also contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine by providing each participant with the opportunity to take a confident step towards their new professional future.
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” remains committed to its goal of supporting the resilience and development of war-affected communities and works to ensure that every Ukrainian has the chance for successful employment and a decent life.
