Project: “Providing cross-sectoral humanitarian assistance to conflict-affected populations in Ukraine”
The NGO “Responsible Citizens,” together with World Vision International, implemented a joint project in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
This project began in September 2023 and concluded in August 2024.
As part of this project, individuals meeting the project criteria were able to receive cash assistance amounting to 10,800 UAH per family member, calculated at 3,600 UAH per month.
Who Was Eligible for Assistance:
Individuals or families who had NOT received (or were not receiving during the last 3 months) cash assistance from international organizations and could document four or more vulnerability criteria:
- Households with an income of less than 6,318 UAH per person per month (social assistance and benefits are not included);
- Households with 3 or more children or children under 2 years old;
- Internally displaced persons (IDPs);
- Households headed by a single parent, including single-parent households;
- Households with pregnant women;
- Households consisting of elderly persons, including single elderly individuals;
- Households with people with disabilities of groups I or II;
- Households with people facing serious health issues;
- Households whose members were injured or killed due to shelling;
- Households whose homes were destroyed or damaged due to the conflict.
Additional Criteria:
- Households living in a home/apartment of a host family, a rented home/apartment, or a shelter;
- Households living in close proximity to the frontline (within 30 km).
Project Geography:
Donetsk region: Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Pokrovsk, and Bilozerka communities.
Kharkiv region: Krasnohrad, Kehechiivka, Krasnokutsk, Bohodukhiv, and Chuhuiv communities.
Dnipropetrovsk region: Sofiivka and Zhovti Vody communities.
The total number of people expected to receive cash assistance through the program implementation is 15,480.
