Empowering Communities: NGO ‘Responsible Citizens’ and World Vision International Educate Over 15,000 in Ukraine
This project by the NGO “Responsible Citizens” was conducted in partnership with World Vision International. It became part of a comprehensive educational program for residents of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions.
“Our goal was to provide support to people in small communities where opportunities are limited. The project had several levels and included both teenagers and young adults, as well as older individuals. Specifically, we focused on providing educational services to people who had lost their jobs and were eager to learn a new profession,” emphasized Enrique Menendez, the project director of the NGO “Responsible Citizens.”
In partnership with World Vision International, an educational program is being implemented, which includes the projects “Building the Future” and “Strengthening Resilience through Development.” It also involves participants from four regions of Ukraine and is set to conclude in June this year. As a result of these programs, more than 15,000 people will have access to educational services.
