Supporting resilience in frontline communities of Donetsk Region

“We work in communities under constant threat. But this is exactly where the project is most needed.
Over the past six months, we’ve reached nearly 2,500 project participants who received psychosocial support through individual and group work. We place special emphasis on case management — a long-term, personalized process for children and families in difficult life circumstances. This is not a one-time consultation, but a consistent approach involving needs assessment, planning, and coordination among specialists,” — said Oksana Ivatina, project coordinator in Donetsk region.
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” continues to work where support is needed most.
We believe that even in critical conditions, every child and every family deserves access to quality services, safety, and care.
The project “Strengthening Community Capacity to Deliver Essential Protection and Resilience Services in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions” is implemented by NGO “Responsible Citizens” in partnership with UNICEF in Ukraine.
