Project “Building resilience through skill development”
Together with our partner, World Vision International, we are implementing a comprehensive educational project in Eastern Ukraine. This project started on January 5, 2024, and concluded on July 31, 2024.
As part of the program, participants will be able to receive various types of support: attend retraining courses and acquire a new profession, improve their English skills through a specialized intensive course, and learn new valuable skills in soft skills and business skills training. This extended program is designed to benefit both youth and adults in building their future careers.
The project covers the following regions: Donetsk Oblast (Oleksandrivska, Bilozerska, Slovianska communities), Kharkiv Oblast (Chuhuivska, Krasnohradska, Lozivska, Krasnokutska, Barvinkivska communities), and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (Zhovtovodska, Sofiivska, Kryvorizka, Dniprovska communities).
The assistance provided includes:
- English courses (3-month duration) – 100 adults, 200 children, and youth aged 14-24 years.
- Soft skills training, where the primary beneficiaries are young people. They benefit from developing essential leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. A total of 4,000 teenagers and young adults, as well as 480 adults, will participate.
- Business skills training – 2,800 teenagers and young adults, as well as 550 adults.
- Retraining courses for women (beauty courses such as manicure technician, eyelash lamination, hairdresser; SMM specialist, accountant, etc.). A total of 300 women will benefit.
