Project manager at “Responsible Citizens” NGO receives International Award for Cultural Diplomacy
Olha Bielaieva, project manager and data analyst at the “Responsible Citizens” NGO, has been named a laureate of the international Cultural Diplomacy award.
This recognition is granted for a significant contribution to strengthening diplomatic ties between Ukraine and the international community.
The award was initiated by the NGO “Grants, Ratings and Nominations” in collaboration with an expert council. It honors individuals and organizations that foster international dialogue and promote a positive image of Ukraine abroad.
At “Responsible Citizens”, Olha plays a key role in implementing cash and voucher assistance (CVA) programs. Her analytical skills and deep understanding of community needs help ensure that humanitarian responses are both effective and human-centered.
“Cultural diplomacy is critically important for Ukraine today. It allows us to speak to the world in the language of humanity, empathy, and mutual respect. Through culture, we can share our values and lived reality — not just as facts, but as meaningful human stories,” — says Olha Bielaieva.
Background:
The Cultural Diplomacy award was presented in May 2025 during a thematic forum in Kyiv. Among the laureates were representatives of culture, education, civil society, and international organizations working at the intersection of cultural dialogue and social change.
