Launching a new educational initiative to support those who have lost their jobs due to the war
To assist those who have lost their jobs due to military actions, the NGO “Responsible Citizens,” in partnership with Mercy Corps and with financial support from the UK government, is launching a new educational initiative.
This initiative is part of the project “Local, Inclusive, and Comprehensive Emergency Assistance to War-Affected Populations in Ukraine (LIVES) 3.0.” NGO “Responsible Citizens” has a successful track record in implementing similar projects, so we understand the high demand and effectiveness of such programs.
“Our mission is to help people not only by providing material resources but also by developing skills that ensure a stable future. This new educational direction aligns with our mission by offering support to those in need. Specifically, together with our partners, we aim to provide practical education to 200 residents from the eastern regions of Ukraine. Among the proposed courses are SMM, accounting, Nordic walking instructor training, and beauty courses,” says Enrique Menendez, Director of Projects and Programs.
Training opportunities will be available for both men and women who have lost their jobs and reside in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions. Priority will be given to individuals from vulnerable categories who have not participated in similar projects before and have clear motivation.
The training will be conducted in both online and offline formats at licensed schools and centers that provide certificates upon course completion. Registration for the courses will begin soon, so stay tuned for updates on our social media.
We are confident that this educational initiative will be an important step in supporting people who have lost their jobs due to the war.
