Child-Centered career guidance: new approaches by “Responsible Citizens”
The NGO “Responsible Citizens” participated in the annual scientific and educational event “Science Unites,” held at the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University on the initiative of the Municipal Institution “Center for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers” of the Kryvyi Rih City Council.
During the lecture “The Architecture of a Social Educator’s Work in the Modern World,” our experts spoke about the social educator as a mentor—a person who helps children not only overcome challenges but also build their dreams.
Special attention was given to the role of social educators in career guidance. Through interactive games, participants explored methods that help children and parents better navigate the world of professions. We shared our insights on conducting effective career guidance that considers children’s interests, abilities, and needs.
For us, participation in such events is not only an opportunity to share knowledge but also a platform for building partnerships, strengthening cross-sector collaboration, and developing a professional community.
We believe that by joining forces, we can create a safe and supportive environment for children, educators, and parents.
