BRIDGE Forum 2024: New Opportunities for Collaboration and Development of the Civil Sector
The BRIDGE Forum 2024, held in Dnipro, became a significant event for discussing the challenges and prospects of the civil sector in eastern Ukraine. Bringing together around 250 participants, including representatives of civil society organizations, local authorities, and international partners, the forum created a unique platform for experience-sharing and fostering cooperation.

This forum served as a communication bridge where participants discussed the urgent needs of communities in eastern regions, shared the challenges they face in their work, and identified joint solutions to overcome them. Special attention was given to the presentation of a new platform — the BRIDGE website, designed to enhance interaction between civil society organizations and donors, as well as to facilitate the exchange of information and resources.
“The forum was a fantastic opportunity for us to learn about best practices and discuss new approaches to addressing pressing issues in the work of civil society organizations. Our organization has significant experience in implementing psychosocial, educational, and humanitarian projects. Participation in such events allows us not only to share our achievements but also to gain valuable knowledge and establish partnerships that strengthen the capacity of our initiatives,” said Alla Maslakhova, Regional Coordinator of the NGO “Responsible Citizens.”
Thanks to this event, “Responsible Citizens” gained new ideas and opportunities to expand its activities and introduce innovative approaches in community work. This highlights the importance of collaboration and interaction between organizations to achieve sustainable changes in the region.

The event was organized by ACTED, UKaid, and the Relief Coordination Centre.
