Stay away from fraudsters!

Kurakhovka village. The explosions are herd in the village although there are no military actions here. They are held in other nearest localities.

The frauds and thefts have become frequent here. Galina – is the latest victim.

On the hot summer day, she was at home by herself. There was a knock on the door. Two young women providing some authorization documents, presented themselves as the social service office employees. The old lady asked them to come in.

The aim of the young ladies’ visit was the exchange of old banknotes on to new ones. The President himself ordered to take care about old persons.

Old people do remember the situations on the banknotes’ exchange, so Galina had given 8 thousand of UAH, which she has been patiently collecting during the last years. “Caring” social service employees performing their duties have sealed the envelope saying:

— Don’t open it till our next visit!

After saying goodbye to the guests, Galina had recovered herself and frightenedly opened the envelope – there were cut pieces of white paper.

— I have refused myself to be able to save… And now I have nothing more. Thank God, my son and his wife do help me…

Her son is a miner, he got trauma. Now he is visiting his mom more frequently, he is afraid to leave her alone. Another one Galina’s son had died in the mine.

Difficult life trials are following Oksana. She is 27 years old. Her weight is just 30 kg.

She is disabled from childhood, she has epilepsy.

Expensive medicines and diapers – are everyday necessary things.

She cannot move by herself that’s why she requires constant support.

“Mother” – is the only one word Oksana can say.

Her mother takes care about her and the household on her own. The social payments are small, but they do manage somehow. Cheerfulness and optimism of this woman deserve admiration.

Such stories make me personally think about mercy and compassion. Compassion – is a sincere feeling of empathy towards person whose life is not simple. And mercy – is a feeling with a shade of excellence above someone. I wish you to feel mercy only towards people whose acts are dirty and low. Be higher than this. And those, who “plays unfairly” will sooner or later be given their dues.
