“Responsible citizens”. Report on NOVEMBER 2016

During the November 2093 families from Donetsk and Luhansk regions had obtained support from our organization.

The main attention was paid to the front-line citizens. These are such locations as Opytnoye, Tonenkoye, Staroignatovka, Pervomayskoye, Zoryanoya, Verkhnetoreckoye, Novotashkovskoye, Kryakovka and others.

The most (1528) of families had received the hygiene kits, warm blankets and linens in measures of the cooperation between the “Responsible citizens” and International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The main beneficiaries’ categories – are lonely retired; disabled; many-children families; single mothers; chronically ill people; families and persons with low level of income.

We mostly try to support those who can’t become beneficiaries of other humanitarian organizations.

Also during the November there have been conducted active work with children. 382 children living in the front-line zone of Donetsk region took part in entertaining, socio-psychological adaptation’ programs and rehabilitation’ activities. All the little participants had obtained sweets, fruits, toys, puzzles, bracelets, etc.

The RC employees had conducted 26 mine awareness trainings. The rules of behaving with explosive war consequences were listened by 2012 persons, among them 1 494 are IDPs and front-line citizens of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. And 518 persons are children in the age from 5 to 18 years old.

Besides, the support is still provided also in measures of cooperation between the “Responsible citizens” and UN humanitarian mission the “World Food Program”.

Through the efforts of our volunteers there were also raised 4 000 UAH. Those funds were directed on a purchase of medicines for children living in the ATO zone.
