NGO “Responsible Citizens” is a partner of the “Donbass League of Humor” project which is the official regional representative of the “League of Humor” television project on the “1 + 1” TV channel. Donbass League of Humor (DLS) is a humorous event in which teams compete among themselves for the title of season champion.
With the outbreak of hostilities in the east of Ukraine, a large number of active youth left the region, feeling not only a threat to their own lives, but also the lack of prospects for further development in the context of the socio-economic crisis. The outflow of youth from Donetsk and Luhansk regions continues now, which creates risks for the future recovery and economic development of the region. Without the development and support of the youth movement, this territory can turn into depressive, with a high probability of new conflicts.
Holding events in the Donetsk region, which is supported by the most successful company in Ukraine developing entertainment products, Studio 95-Kvartal, will be able to attract active youth to stay and develop in their own region, represent the region at all-Ukrainian events, and increase the prestige of the region.
Goals and objectives of the “Donbass League of Humor”:
Events are hosted in two cities: Kramatorsk and Mariupol.
The project started in 2018. 2 seasons were successfully held, in which more than 200 young people took part. In 2020, due to the spread of Covid-19, the start of the season was postponed.
