“Children at war”

Attention! Our organization starts new campaign “Children at war”!

This campaign should result in book production with the best children’ works (stories, essays, verses, tails, illustrations, etc.). The Book will be named “The war through children’s eyes”!

All the winners will be awarded with prizes!

To participate in the campaign, you should follow the next conditions:

“Children at war”

THE GOALS OF THE PROJECT:

•  to attract attention to the common problem for the both sides of contact line – the childhood in military atmosphere;
•  to provide support to creative children, who appeared to live in the military actions’ zone;
•  to develop feeling of belonging to society, in which they live, among children; the skill to state and prove their point of view;
•  to provide children with opportunity to be herd and realize their creative potential;
•  to involve children in positive activity that corresponds to their interests, talents and psychological condition.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:
Children aged from 6 to 17 years’ old who witnessed Donbass’ military actions.

TO APPLY, YOU SHOULD :
Choose and develop one type of work:

•  Tail;
•  Fairytale;
•  Essay;
•  Verse;
•  Comic strip (its photo);
•  Drawing (its photo).

SUBJECTS OF WORK:

•  The war through your own eyes.
•  How to perceive the man?
•  Do good!
•  Always stay human!
•  Peace or War – what will you choose?

APPLICATION RILES:

•  Tails, essays, verses: 14 Times New Roman’ print; 1.5 line’ interval; 1.5 paragraph; not more than 4 pages А4 format.
•  Comic strips and drawings should be in “jpg” and “png” formats.
•  There should be stated: name, surname, age, town of residence.

The application deadline is through the 20th of June 2016!

AWARD:
The best works will be published in the Book created with the essays, verses, tails, fairytales, illustrations, comic strips, etc., provided by children.
ALL THE WINNERS WILL BE REWARDED!

TIMELINES:
1st stage: campaign announcing, 01.05.2016 – 20.06.2016 – applications assembling;
2nd stage: information revising and evaluation; 20.06.2016 – 31.07.2016 – Book’s makeup;
3rd stage: 01.08.2016-10.08.2016 – Book’s printing and presentation.

ONLY TOGETHER WE ARE ABLE TO CUNDUCT SUCH CAMPAIGN:
The necessary costs for the Book’s production:
Development, makeup and publishing – 10 000 UAH.
Prize pool (including: diplomas and certificates – 1000 UAH; presents for winners – 4 500 UAH; prizes for participants – 4000) – 9 500 UAH.
