About IDPs from Mariupol

Mariupol. The hostel, where for about two years have been living the IDPs from Donetsk city, Krasnogorovka village, Maryinka village, Shakhtarsk city, is in unlivable state. Actually, they are living in “Spartan” conditions.

There are 40 people living there, including 8 children among them. The most of the residents don’t have their own homes anymore.

There is a family with a newborn child, the room where they are living is very hot and airless. The child doesn’t sleep because of heat and cries all the time, young parents are asking about ventilator.

Everyone got used to the fact that everything obtained should be shared among others. Ten families are using one fridge. There is now washing machine, because it broke down through the electricity collapse, and there is no opportunity to buy a new one. The most of residents are elderly people, laundry making is an every time torture for them.

We have brought medicines for them, blood pressure monitor and hygiene. This aid was long awaited for each of the recipients.

But most of all they require washing-machine and will be glad to have any. They also do not have even one iron for their big company.

If you do have a washing-machine, ventilator or iron which you don’t use and ready to donate, our organization is ready to take it and provide it to people in the hostel.
